Ritual Preparation, Purification And Protection From Nepali Dhami - Jhankri Shamanism
February 1 – February 2, 2025
Paris, France
A Dhami - Jhankri Shaman must prepare appropriately for any ritual. Whatever is the intention of our rituals, we must always begin with Purification and Protection. We will explore these secrets during two days of intensive in-person teachings.
Ritual Purification: Sacred Space, The Altar, The Shaman's Body and Mudras, how to invite the Deities, purifying our Tools and Instruments, and purification for the healing recipient.
Ritual Protection: Establishing the Spheres, Inviting our Protector Deities, Protecting others (amulets, etc.) and Mantras of Protection.
Protection from Dhami-Jhankri's View and Visions:
A person chosen by the spirit, whether the lineage ancestral spirit or by the spirits of nature, is spiritually partially or fully naked. Even learning from a living human teacher and receiving initiation is firstly like being naked, without a boundary or border. Transmissions and exchanges only work partially if the person is spiritually covered up, attired, emotionally defensive and unconvinced. Even for healing to work on another person, the person is initially exposed by shifting the outer coverings. After the healing session, a new spirit gown (protection) is bestowed. We are exposed to the world of the intangible spirits and tangible human agents of the spirits, navigating a delicate balance between the two. A spirit-touched or spirit-contaminated/possessed person needs more work for self-protection at different levels to create a new vibrant spirit gown to hold what has been generated/cultivated and to keep off the malefic forces that may try to feed and take refuge. This intensive in-person session will help participants purify themselves and the ritual space and perform self-protective rituals. Even sacred objects kept on the altar or at home can be exposed to spirits or become spiritually polluted.
This transmission is helpful for energy, other healing practitioners, and people from every walk of life.
